What has been published on CJC-1295 (No DAC)
This compound requires the most careful reading of anything in the catalogue, because two different molecules are routinely discussed under one name.
CJC-1295 with DAC carries a drug affinity complex that binds albumin and extends its half-life to days. CJC-1295 without DAC — the material described here, also called Modified GRF (1-29) — lacks that complex and is short-acting. Human endocrine trial data exists for the DAC version; it does not transfer to this one, and sources that cite it as though it does are misreading the literature.
Lines of investigation in the literature
- GHRH receptor pharmacology. The compound is an analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (1-29), the shortest fully active fragment.
- Amino acid substitutions and stability. Work on the four substitutions that resist enzymatic degradation relative to native GRF.
- Secretagogue research. Animal and some human endocrine work on pulsatile growth hormone release.
- Comparative half-life studies. The literature distinguishing DAC and non-DAC forms.
A note on framing
This is a hormone-axis research compound. It is supplied strictly as a laboratory reference material, and nothing in the published literature is offered here as a basis for any use in a living subject.
Summaries of published research, provided as context for laboratory work. Findings described are from in-vitro and animal models unless stated otherwise, and nothing here is evidence of any effect in humans or a basis for use in any living subject.
