Description

A peptide storage case for 3 ml research vials

A rigid, 3D-printed hard case that holds research vials upright and protected between uses. The base is printed as a single moulded block with individual chamfered bores sized for 3 ml vials, so each vial sits in its own pocket rather than rolling loose, and a dark grey foam pad bonded into the lid presses down on the caps to stop any movement in transit.

Printed in PETG — a glycol-modified polyester from the same family as drinks bottles. It is chosen here for impact resistance rather than appearance: PETG absorbs a knock and flexes instead of shattering, which is the failure mode that matters for a case carrying glass. It also resists alcohols, so the shell can be wiped down with isopropyl without crazing or clouding, and it holds up to dilute acids and bases. Strong alkalis and chlorinated solvents should be kept off it.

The shell carries a fine printed layer texture, a stepped lid rim, reinforced corners, stainless hinge pins at the back and a positive flip clasp at the front that stays shut when the case is dropped or carried in a bag. Stable between freezer and room temperature; it is not autoclavable.

Available as a 6-slot and a 20-slot, both in white with a turquoise clasp.

Fits 3 ml vials only — the bores are sized specifically for 3 ml vials and will not hold 5 ml, 10 ml or 30 ml vials. Because each case is 3D-printed, very small differences in finish or fit between individual units are normal and are not a fault.

Delivery, returns and damaged orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and tell us promptly about any damage, defect or shortage. Because these are sealed research materials, we cannot generally accept a return or refund once the seal on a vial has been broken. If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, we will replace it or refund it. Email info@elitebiolabs.co.uk before sending anything back. This does not affect your statutory rights.
